Ian St John and Jimmy Greaves were two of the best strikers in English football during the 1960s - 'Saint' with Liverpool (where he scored the winning goal in the 1965 FA Cup Final) and 'Greavsie' with Tottenham (where he was the club's all-time top scorer until Harry Kane took that crown in season 2022-23).

Eventually, following their retirements, both moved into broadcasting and first worked as a duo during the On The Ball football preview programme in the 1980s and such was their popularity that they soon had their own show, Saint and Greavsie, which ran from 1985 to 1992.
